As a very young child,I remember Hardee's when it was Burger Chef. Both of my parents, several uncles and aunts attended Tech in the 60's, 70's & 80's. Posted: 10/22/2008

Becky Laing Year: 1967 Register to contact	The Steer Inn on 10th and Emerson! This was a big hangout for everyone afterschool, after the games and on weekends. I don't think anyone ever ate inside, only outside so they could watch who was driving through. Posted: 12/30/2008

Raymond Melton Year: 1980 Register to contact	Wow! The burger chef on tenth street.....now thats a memory. I went to Tech in the late 70's and had to have my daily flamed broiled hamburger, fries and coke. Now those flame broiled burgers will forever out do burger king's. I do miss that place. I remember the steer inn as well. My brother and I doubled dated twins there, lol, that was a treat. Posted: 01/12/2009
