Janet "Momma Rabbit" (Logan) McMurray passed away on May 20, 2007 at the age of 62. She was born on August 31, 1944 in Flat Rock IL. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Daughters of the American Revolution, a member of the Fine Upstanding Citizens of Kansas, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, and a faithful patron of the Pittsburg Public Library.
Her father, George Harland Short, her mother Doris Irene Short, and her elder brother, Ralph Harland Short, preceded her in death.
Her husband, Dale McMurray, her son James Logan, daughters, ReBecca Logan, Barbara (McMurray) Hunter, and Terry(McMurray) Gath, and her grandchildren, Ross Morgan, Anthony Morgan, Shelby Hunter, Ashley Hunter, Ryan Gath, Madison Hunter, and Cody Gath survive her.
