Robert Scott Piety, Jr. 72, Indianapolis died March 18, 2008. He was born on January 5, 1936 in Bruceville, IN the son of Robert S. and Thelma (Byerley) Piety, Sr. He was a retired National City Bank Branch Manager. Mr. Piety was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School, member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and had served as it's treasurer, member of the Indy Chapter Studebaker Drivers Club, member National City Bank Retirees and served as their treasurer and president of Home Owners Association of Bentley Farms. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn (Ober) Piety; daughters, Amy (Kirby) Baird of Cicero, IN, Angela Priest, Flower Mound, TX, Andrea (Mike) Schuler of Roann, IN and Alison (Michael) Phelps of Greenfield, IN; grandchildren, Megan and Kirby Baird, Heather, Zachary, and Joshua Priest, Michael and Emmalee Phelps, Amelia (deceased), Natalie, Jacob, John and Annie Schuler; brothers, Jerry (Joie) Piety, Charles (deceased) (Patricia)Piety. Contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church or S.I.D.S. Center.
