According to Elaine 5/14/07-Jerry was an Indiana State Policeman killed in the line of duty. He is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Lt. Jerry Earl Morgan Marion County Sheriff's Department, Retired 60, of Lawrence, passed away July 28, 2004. Jerry was born June 3, 1944 in Greensburg, Indiana the son of George and Delorma (Smith) Morgan. Jerry retired from the Marion County Sheriffs Department in January 2003 with 30 years of service. Lt. Morgan was a member of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #86. Lt. Morgan is survived by: his parents, a daughter Sharon Adams, and husband Kevin, a son Rodney Morgan and wife Kathy, a sister Susan Coxey and husband Hutch and a grandson Zachary Adams. A sister Cynthia Lou (Cindy) Morgan preceded him in death. Inurnment will be in the Heroes of Public Safety Section of Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Ruth Lilly Hospice.
